IRS Gave Billions In Refunds To Illegals

WASHINGTON (BHN) - An audit shows that the Internal Revenue Service allowed illegal immigrants to collect $4.2 billion in refundable tax credits last year, quadruple the sum of five years ago.

Illegal immigrants or "undocumented workers" as the Obama administration prefers to call them, are not eligible for federal benefits, but that hasn't stopped them from applying for and getting billions of dollars worth of money and services from the IRS and other government agencies.

The Obama administration was quick to argue the positive aspect of the refunds, calling them "job-creating stimulus," and pointing to the fact that car stereo, spray paint, and marijuana sales in Hispanic neighborhoods have quadrupled in the last five years.

My comments: It's comforting to know that the tax refunds I didn't qualify for aren't going to waste!

WASHINGTON (BHN) - The Obama administration is increasingly referring to itself as "your federal family," as the word "government" has become repugnant to everyone not on welfare. Unfortunately, the clever PR move is reaping the unforeseen consequence of driving thousands of individuals into counseling.

"Oh my God. It's one thing to have to cope with my immediate family," said one distraught Maryland housewife, "but to suddenly be told Sheila Jackson-Lee or Barney Frank are somehow related to me just makes me want to kill myself."

In response to the adverse reaction to "your federal family," The Obama administration is reportedly considering the alternative  "your closest friends."
