Caracas (BHN) - Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez's condition is much worse than previously thought, according to his former doctor.
Salvador Helodoli, his former personal surgeon, told Mexican newspaper El Newspapero on Sunday that Chavez's condition is, in fact, terminal. "I'm afraid President Chavez is terminally retarded. He's an absolute moron, and not getting any better."
Individuals close to Chavez have long been aware of the leader's condition, and publicized speeches like the one given at the United Nations several years ago have allowed outsiders a glimpse of the dire nature of the leader's affliction.
The good news is that it appears Chavez and especially those around him will soon feel relief, as he is reportedly dying from a fatal disease.
