NEW YORK CITY (BHN) -Snow and rain drenched demonstrators at Zuccotti Park over the weekend. New York City received 2.9 inches of snow, a record for October.
Those camping out in the park have been stockpiling donated blankets, scarves, coats and have been trying to get more tents, cots, tarps, and marijuana.
According to an “urgent” alert on their website, OWS is looking for a number of other donations, including boots, condoms, gloves, anti-fungal ointments, hand and foot warmers, body lice medication, hats, scarves, herpes cream, and plastic bongs, among other things. The site says the protesters “are in need of emergency supplies crucial for cold weather survival, getting high, and combating a variety of sexually transmitted diseases.”
My comments: How long can the big Wall Street investment firms hold out against an occupation of 200 frozen hippie retards shivering under tarps in a neighborhood park? My guess would be forever. Maybe longer.
