AFL-CIO Embraces Chi-Com Premier, Obama

WASHINGTON (BHN) - Chinese Foreign Minister spokesperson Liu Weimin revealed last week that Chinese Premier Wen Jiaboa was awarded the "Best Friend of American Worker” award by the AFL-CIO's US International Longshoremen’s Association. The Chinese ambassador to the United States reportedly received the award on his behalf. 

In related news, the AFL-CIO announced Tuesday that the organization is again officially endorsing Barack Obama for President. 

"Mr. Obama shares those political and philosophical qualities the AFL-CIO looks for in a friend of the American worker," said spokesman "Fat Tony" Anthony Scarlese.

My comments: Do what I do: Always look for the union label, then buy something else!
