JALALABAD, Afghanistan (BHN) - Protesters angry over the recent killings and Koran burning by US military personnel rioted in the streets of several Afghanistan cities Monday.
Demonstrators in the city of Jalalabad chanted "Death to America, Death to Obama" while burning an effigy of the US president, as well as a large cross apparently made entirely of bacon. After perfectly cooking the cross until it was just slightly crispy, the protesters showed disrespect to Christians everywhere by eating it.
"It was just like America - so decadent and delicious. I hated it," said one Afghan rioter of the bacon cross.
