OBSERVATION POINT OUELLETTE, South Korea (BHN) - After squinting through binoculars into a nation frozen in time, US President Barack Obama reeled off a contempt-laden and startlingly frank indictment of North Korea.
"There is absolutely nothing there," Obama said Sunday, after he toured a rocky border post in the demilitarized buffer zone that splits the Korean peninsula.
"It's like you're looking into a foggy wasteland where even the terrain itself is without form. I didn't see one building, one person, one tree - nothing," Obama marvelled later, after taking a helicopter back to Seoul, just 25 miles away.
My comments: Somebody really should have instructed Barry on how to use those things...
