FLOTUS Celebrates 50th Birthday

WASHINGTON (WNB) - First Lady Michelle Obama was presented with the first of what promises to be many birthday cakes today as she celebrates her 50th birthday.

There was a brief moment of concern when Mrs. Obama appeared to hyperventilate as the large cheeseburger-shaped cake was unveiled, but she quickly recovered after realizing it was only a cake. 

The First Lady's formal birthday party will be an expensive, lavish star-studded affair Friday night.
