BOSTON (WNB) - Sen. Elizabeth Warren (RTRD-MA) has come forward with a bold plan to turn around the failing US Post Office.
"The wisdom of my forefathers spoke to me through the spirit of the wind - It told me the way to save the Post Office is to have it offer banking services to the public," Warren told reporters.
When asked how an organization that can't figure out how to deliver a small box across town without losing or destroying it could perform complicated financial transactions, Warren replied, "Well, of course we would have to replace the present employees with people who can count. The rest would be easy."
Senate Minority Speaker Mitch McConnell said of Warren's plan, "This foul wind obviously emanated from the Senator herself."
