Maya Angelou Memorial Poetry Competition

WORLD NEWS BUREAU - In honor of renowned poet Maya Angelous' passing, WNB is pleased to stage a competition for the best original poetry.

Prizes will be awarded by a distingushed panel of judges based on feeling, warmth (or coolness), angst, emotion, and passion.

Winners to be announced June 10th - start writing!

As I gaze into the azure blue skies of my mind

A sense of confusion grips my spine.

Why do I live, yet others die?

Some do crack, I do pie.

The question haunts me, if I only knew

Why is my mind's sky azure blue?
