SAN FRANCISCO (WNB) - Bay area hospitals report 'hundreds' of cases of male genital amputation in the wake of Sunday's 6.1 magnitude earthquake.
"It goes without saying nobody gave much thought to certain unique aspects of a major quake in this area," said Harvey Milk Medical Center Director Will Easton. "With more quakes likely, we encourage gay males practice good oral hygiene and maybe keep a small ice cooler on hand."
San Francisco hospitals have issued an urgent request for urologic surgeons.
