TEL AVIV (WNB) - Israeli politicians are lashing out at the Obama administration, as details emerge of the U.S. State Departement's negotiations with Iran. By all accounts, the pending deal is a miserable one for Western interests, financially rewarding Iran while allowing them to continue enriching uranium to weapons-grade levels in their secret underground bunkers.
"Real friends don't want friends dead," said one Likud Party councilman. "We desperately need some new friends - how long until the American's elections?"
Sec. of State John Kerry dismissed Israeli complaints, saying the proposed agreement would prevent Iran from possessing a nuclear weapon "for months."
