WASHINGTON (World News Bureau) - Even fellow Democrats sharing the stage with Nancy Pelosi (RTRD-Ca) appeared to be shocked at the octogenarian politician's slurred, disjointed rambling during a press conference announcing the House Democrats’ impeachment managers in the Senate impeachment trial of President Donald Trump.
As Jerry Nadler (RTRD- NY) and Adam Schiff (RTRD-Ca) grimaced and glared at the stammering Pelosi, she intoned, "Everything is about time. How we, uh, use it. How we, uh, mark it. Uh, as I've said, it's always been our founders, uh, when it started. When in the course, of human events it becomes necessary when. Abraham Lincoln. Uh... four score and seven years ago....uh, and even our poets. Longfellow. These are the times that, uh, try men's souls..."
Sources present say Nadler's especially pained expression had as much to do with Pelosi's "boozy breath and incessant farting" as it did her bizarre rambling and frequent brain freezes, while a staff member for Rep. Schiff explained that his "weird, bug-eyed gawking" was due more to his "tiny, constricted neck" than anything said by Speaker Pelosi. "That's just how he looks."
The bizarre spectacle apparently got the attention of President Trump who Tweeted, "Pretty sure Speaker Pelosi was either drunk, suffering a stroke, suddenly possessed by a demon of stupidity, or, as I suspect, a combination of all three. Holy crap."
